Due to normal use, your bag’s leather and window display may get dirty!
Cleaning the Faux Leather (Video tutorial below)
The faux leather is very easy to clean - use a soft towel and dip it in soapy warm water. Wipe down the surface of the bag, and it should remove most grime, spills, dirt, etc. Please do not use harsh chemicals (i.e. alcohol based cleaning sprays) as this can ruin the faux leather’s finish.
If you want to use something a little bit stronger than soapy water, I recommend the product linked below. It’s great for cleaning the exterior and window of any ITA bags. I personally use this on all of my bags to clean thoroughly!
Cleaning the Display Screen (Video tutorial below)
The display can get “foggy” during transit or storage due to temperature changes. This is very easy to fix! All you have to do is use a hair dryer to heat up the surface and use a soft towel and warm soapy water to clean both sides of the window. I clean every single bag by hand before they’re sent out, and I verify that they’re crystal clear. Unfortunately when the bags are in transit, they can go through some temperature changes that can create this “foggy” look on the screen. This is very common for the PVC type of material used, and can happen more frequently when it gets colder at night (USPS never rests, and the bags travel through all types of weather). A hair dryer and soap and water will work wonders to clean this up! I personally use the cleaner below instead of soap, since it works a lot faster than using soapy water multiple times.
The display window can get smudges due to normal use. In order to remove these smudges, you can use the same methods as above - use a hair dryer to heat up the surface and use a soft towel and warm soapy water to clean both sides of the window. wipe down with soapy warm water. As for the window, you can use the same method. Your window display can also get dents if not careful, and you can lessen the dents using the hair dryer method and carefully stretching the PVC window material.

How to Maintain Your Bag
In order to prolong the life your ITA Pin Bag, I recommend taking care of it the best way you can! Below are tips on how to take care of your bag!
Storage
Please keep your bag in doors and inside a dust bag. Extreme weather can ruin the quality of the faux leather and screen
When not in use, you can stuff the bag with an old t-shirt or towel to keep the bag from collapsing. Your bag should maintain its shape in general, but just in case something squeezes bag without your knowledge, it’s a good idea to stuff it so its shape remains intact. If it does get squeezed, you can help reshape it by stuffing it for 24 hours and lightly using a hair dryer
General Cleaning
Using the methods above, please clean your bags routinely between uses! It can take more work cleaning a bag after using it several times without cleaning. It’s just good practice to take care of your bag in general!
