GRADING SYSTEMS:
As all of my products are handmade, I do not claim that they are PERFECT. I have created grading systems in order to express possible imperfections you may find in order to be fully transparent about the quality of my products. Each product in my shop is carefully inspected and categorized with this grading system in place. Grades are also highly subjective, but I do pride myself with having a very strict grading system as I am a fellow collector of pins and am very picky!
PIN GRADING SYSTEM:
Pin Grading System was created by Pinny Planet to specifically address the quality of pins. (If you are a creator who'd like to use my grading scale on their own page, feel free to use this grading scale with credit!)
Due to the nature of enamel pins, I do not advertise that my pins are FLAWLESS or PERFECT. Enamel pins are handmade, as the enamel is filled by hand meticulously and polished by hand. Pins can be close to FLAWLESS, but in my experience of making pins since 2017, it is nearly impossible to get an absolute FLAWLESS pin. With that being said, I guarantee the best quality for my pins. I aim for my products to be as close to FLAWLESS as they can be. Quality is at the forefront of my shop, and I am extremely picky with the pins that I release in my shop. I do not sell anything that I wouldn't purchase myself!
*Grading system only applies to the front of the pin. Metal backstamps are likely to exhibit flaws, as the pins are constantly moved and placed on their backs on a variety of surfaces during production*
A Grade (Standard Grade): The best pins of the batch, they are free of major defects and closest to what a “perfect” pin can look like. They are still subject to minor imperfections. These minor imperfections can only be seen if angled in a specific way and looked at very closely. Minor imperfections are barely noticeable and may consist of a minor scratch, tiny dark spec, glitter spec, small screenprint imperfection, and metal plating defect. They’re either “perfect” or close to “perfect.” I recommend A Grade pins for collectors who are very attentive to their pins and prefer the best of the best.
B Grade: These pins will exhibit minor imperfections that may or may not be noticeable when the pin is angled in a specific way and/or looked at very closely. These imperfections will be much more noticeable in general than A Grade pins. Minor imperfections may consist of a minor scratch, low enamel fill, tiny dent, slight enamel overspill, glitter spec, small screenprint imperfection, and metal plating defect. I recommend B Grade pins for collectors who don't mind a minor flaw that's not very noticeable unless you look for the flaw.
C Grade: These pins will exhibit minor imperfections that will be noticeable when inspected. These imperfections will be much more noticeable in general than A or B Grade pins. Minor imperfections may consist of a minor scratch, low enamel fill, tiny dent, slight enamel overspill, glitter spec, small screenprint imperfection, and metal plating defect (excluding backs). I recommend C Grade pins for collectors who don't mind noticeable minor flaws to their pins. I also recommend C Grade pins for every day wear and tear since they’re discounted.
Note: I do NOT sell pins with extreme low enamel fill, mistakes in enamel, deep scratches, misaligned screenprint, broken posts, air bubbles, gauges, big overspills, noticeable flaws on faces, missing enamel, etc. I do NOT sell pins that I don't feel comfortable selling to the pin community. I guarantee that ALL pins sent to buyers have been closely looked at individually - but sometimes I may miss something or we may not agree. If you feel that there was a mistake with your pin or you do not agree with the pin you've received, please read my Exchange Policy below! I have never encountered an issue with a buyer feeling that their pin was majorly flawed. Quality is EVERYTHING to me, and I do NOT want to misrepresent my designs with poor quality pins. Pins that I do not deem sellable will NOT be sold.
BAG GRADING SYSTEM:

Due to the nature of ITA Pin Bags, I do not advertise that my bags are FLAWLESS. Bags are meticulously handmade and take months or even over a year to finish. Bags can be close to FLAWLESS, but in my experience of making pins for 3 years, it is impossible to get an absolute FLAWLESS bag. With that being said, I guarantee the best quality for my bags. I aim for my products to be as close to FLAWLESS as they can be. Quality is at the forefront of my shop, and I am extremely picky with the bags that I release in my shop. I do not sell anything that I wouldn't purchase myself! Photos of B/C Grade bags will be provided before restock as a post on Instagram and posted on the related product’s listing.
A Grade (Standard Grade): The best bags of the batch, they are free of major defects but can still exhibit minor imperfections. These minor imperfections can only be seen if angled in a specific way and looked at very closely and usually pertains to the display window of the bag. Minor imperfections are barely noticeable and may consist of a minor scratch/smudge.
B Grade: These bags will exhibit minor imperfections that may or may not be noticeable when the bag is angled in a specific way and/or looked at very closely. These imperfections will be much more noticeable in general than A Grade bags. Minor imperfections may consist of a minor scratch, smudges, tiny pricks in the leather, small scratches on the hardware, etc. I recommend B Grade bags for collectors who don't mind a minor flaw that's difficult to find in general. These bags will be discounted from the A Grade, Standard price. Imperfections are purely cosmetic and will not diminish the overall quality and usage of the bag.
C Grade: These pins will exhibit more noticeable imperfections when inspected. These imperfections will be much more noticeable than A or B Grade pins. Minor imperfections may consist of a minor scratch, smudges, tiny pricks in the leather, small scratches on the hardware, etc.. I recommend C Grade bags for collectors who don't mind more noticeable flaws to their bags. These bags will be discounted from the A Grade, Standard price. Imperfections are purely cosmetic and will not diminish the overall quality and usage of the bag.
IMPERFECT BAGS: About once or twice a year, I will sell IMPERFECT bags that have been deemed to have major flaws and not good enough to be sold as C Grade bags. These are typically 75% off from the A Grade bags so very heavily discounted. Imperfect bags will have flaws that do not impede on the functionality of the bag. Each imperfect bag is photographed and flaws are pointed out and thoroughly explained. These bags are great if you’re looking for a very discounted bag and/or if you want to heavily customize the exterior without worrying about the higher price tag of the better quality bags.
I do NOT sell bags with extreme flaws/issues that would affect the overall structure and purpose of the bag. I do NOT sell bags that I don't feel comfortable selling to the pin community. I guarantee that ALL bags sent to buyers have been closely looked at individually - but sometimes I may miss something or we may not agree. REFUND POLICY:
Pinny Planet reserves the right to refuse service to any customer, including refunding/cancelling orders under certain circumstances.
Products are non-returnable unless otherwise stated by seller. I treat every inquiry on a case-by-case basis, so if there are any issues feel free to email me! I will do my best to see what we can do to better the situation! Email: shop@pinnyplanet.com.
If a cancellation is requested and the item is already shipped, refunds can be provided but the shipping costs will not be refunded as it was already used by USPS. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return items or if replacements need to be sent due to issues with USPS.
If you request for a cancellation and refund multiple times (3 strikes), you may be subject to being blacklisted from my shop and service may be refused. I understand life happens and situations arise, so I allow for up to 3 cancellations. If you are blacklisted, any purchases made from the same name or address will be automatically cancelled and refunded. If you have questions, please feel free to ask me before purchasing! Please understand that you are purchasing from a small shop - fees are nonrefundable to sellers so we end up paying for your refund/cancellation. As I mentioned, I treat every inquiry on a case-by-case basis, but please make sure that you are a serious buyer as I am a serious seller.

SHIPPING POLICY:
Please click HERE for details on shipping. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and I ship worldwide. If there are any issues due to shipping and transit, please email me for any questions or concerns! Email: shop@ppinnyplanet.com. Your order will be shipped around 7-21 business days, depending on the amount of orders I receive. This is still subject to change, especially if you place a pre-order.
International buyers are responsible for ALL IMPORT TAX FEES. No UK buyers at this time due to VAT Tax!
LOST PACKAGE POLICY:
If your package has been stuck in transit for at least 14 days, follow my recommendation on this page under Shipping FAQ. If your package has been delivered but you cannot find your package, please follow my recommendation on this page under Shipping FAQ. I cannot guarantee refunds or a new order to be sent out for lost packages or mis-delivered packages BUT email me! I treat this as a case-by-case situation, and any documents and photos to help your case is recommended! I have always successfully solved these issues with my customers, and they have all been happy with the solutions I've offered!
TAX POLICY:
As a seller with a nexus in California, I am responsible for collecting and remitting tax from customers in California. Customers from other states will not be taxed (but subject to change depending on nexus requirements).
Customers from outside the US are subject to VAT. I do not collect or remit VAT, but packages will be marked as goods/services. Your country may reach out to you to collect VAT. Please go to my dedicated Shipping Policy page for more information.
PRE-ORDER POLICY:
Pinny Planet reserves the right to refund/cancel pre-orders in the event of any issues that may arise. Customers will be notified of this refund/cancellation via email.
As of 2024, Pinny Planet has implemented a “Pre-Order Agreement Form” when pre-ordering items. This form will pop up on your screen once you add the item to your cart. Below is an example of the pop up form, and you will be asked to write your first and last initials to confirm that you have read this disclaimer.
“By purchasing this pre-order, you agree to have read the pre-order details of this item in the description. It will take about ____ months until this item is ready to be shipped. Updates will be posted on my website and IG Highlights under "PRE-ORDER UPDATES". Additionally, any in-hand items purchased with this pre-order will be shipped together. Please type your first and last initial if you agree to have read this disclaimer.”
